Addolorata Villa

“I came here hoping to find a place to work on my art. There was a space across from my apartment they had converted into a studio for me and the other residents. I feel that I’m able to continue painting and I spend about three hours every day doing it.”
Tom G., 2 year resident of Addolorata Villa

“I feel the care of my mother received at Addolorata Villa, both in assisted living and skilled nursing care, was second to none. The staff was always courteous, professional and compassionate. I know my mother was difficult at times but they were always patient and handled every situation well. Because I Knew my mother was in good hands, this helped give me peace of mind about her care. I would never hesitate to tell anyone to let their loved one stay at Addolorata Villa.”

St Anthony Village

“I truly believe in this place…I have worked here for 14 years, have brought family members to live here, including my husband’s grandmother, and my grandson has been attending Holy Family Child Care Center since he was 5 months old. It is nice having him here. It’s also nice having my grandmother-in-law so close. I can go to her room, spend time with her and come back to work. They provide great care for her…their approach translates to how we provide child care at Holy Family. The JOY program connecting Holy Family and St. Anthony’s combined with the mission and values of the Sisters is a big reason why I suggested to my family that my grandmother-in-law move here.”
Kim Kulpa, Director of Holy Family Child Care Center (staff member for 18 years)

“I like the care I receive at St. Anthony’s. There are a lot of things that I need on a daily basis and the staff is always there to help. The staff really makes me feel at home because they take the time to get to know me.”
Anna M., resident of St. Anthony’s for 2 years

“The spirit of the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago is indoctrinated in the staff here. The staff on the St. Anthony campus is genuinely concerned with our happiness and well-being.”
Walter D., St. Anthony resident for 1 year

“My favorite thing to do is look at the pictures the residents have. Just to see who they were before they moved in here is special. They have so many stories and such good advice to share. All you have to do is listen to them. To see their smiles makes me feel good knowing I play a part in their happiness.”
Cathy Wood, St. Anthony’s Director of Nursing (staff member for 21 years)

“I really look forward to seeing the children from Holy Family Child Care every week. When we get together, we always have a lot of fun. Having the children on campus brings a lot of happiness to many people living here.”
Anna M., resident of St. Anthony for 2 years

St. Joseph Village

“I would say the number one thing about St. Joseph Village in taking care of my dad is the teamwork. I don’t feel like I have just put him somewhere and it’s all up to me to care for him. We work together. It is just a blessing to have a group of people who truly care about his mental and physical health and provide the best possible environment for him.”
Barb N., family member of St. Joseph Village resident.
