Franciscan Ministries Recognizes Wonderful Heroes in Our Community

amazing heroes badgeThere are many amazing people in our communities who always put our residents, their safety and joy first. Take a look at some these heroes throughout the Franciscan Communities and what amazing things they are doing, as we shepherd through these very difficult and challenging times. They make a difference, every single day. Thank you to our outstanding associates.

A special message of thanks comes to you from Kalen Allen from the Ellen DeGeneres Show!
Also a heartfelt thank you, from the entire Senior Management team. Everything that you are doing for Franciscan Ministries and its residents during this unprecedented time is appreciated and does not go unnoticed. You truly are Super Heroes!

A Special Message from Chicago Cubs Radio Announcer
To all of our Franciscan Ministries Healthcare Heroes, a special, “Thank You,” from the voice behind our very own Chicago Cubs!

With visitor restrictions in place, many residents are sad and need a little cheer up. Marian Village employee, Michelle is encouraging anyone to write residents letters or draw pictures to put smiles on their faces during this difficult time.

Thank you to the Administrative Assistants (especially Denise Boudreau) who worked the phones yesterday and were able to secure additional PPE for our heroes out in the field. I am so proud of how our team has pulled together during this time.

Thank you to Thomas B. from Mount Alverna Village. This community delivered 300 bagged lunches (sandwich, chips, fruit cup, and drink) to St. Herman’s House in Ohio City. St. Herman House’s mission is to shelter and support homeless men on the path to well-being and independence and meet the basic needs of people in our community. They have an emergency shelter for 28 men and a transitional home that accommodates 12 men. In addition, they serve three meals a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to anyone in need. They are the only facility in the city of Cleveland that provides three hot meals a day to the public.
