Homer Glen, IL –February 28, 2020 –Marian Village in Homer Glen, part of the Franciscan Communities, is hosting, “The Irish in Hollywood” on Thursday, March 26, from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm at their campus located at 15624 Marian Drive in Homer Glen.
The films of Hollywood’s Golden Age offered many depictions and talent from Ireland. Join Dr. Annette Bochenek, film historian, for an informative multimedia presentation covering the top stars and classic films with ties to the Emerald Isle. She will share a selection of photos, video clips, and captivating stories as well as answer questions.
