Those impacted by this violence have to live every day with fear, disbelief, sorrow, agony and pain.
Since opening in 1995, more than 9,400 people have turned to St. Jude House, a family violence prevention center and shelter in Crown Point, Indiana. For twenty years, St. Jude House has been a safe emergency shelter and compassionate provider of services for victims, and their children, of domestic violence. St. Jude House is committed to offering love and hope in a healing and caring environment to each person that seeks its shelter and/or services.
The Franciscan Sisters of Chicago help support St. Jude House to expand their mission of caring for the young, the sick, the disabled and the elderly.
