President and Chief Executive Officer
Judy Amiano became Franciscan Ministries’ President and Chief Executive Officer in October 2010. Prior to her position at Franciscan Ministries, she served as vice president of senior services for Riverside Health System, a non-profit health system located in Kankakee, Ill. She has over 30 years of experience in the medical and senior services industry with more than 20 years at the executive business management level. Judy earned a Bachelor Degree in Nursing from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana and holds an MBA from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois.
Chief Financial Officer
Ronald Tinsley joined the Franciscan Ministries team as Chief Financial Officer in June 2011, bringing over 30 years of experience working with healthcare and senior living clients throughout the country. He is considered an aging services industry leader, executive, mentor, and advisor and is recognized for his experience in long-range planning, financial strategy, and organizational improvement. Prior to his position at Franciscan Ministries, he was a former finance and consulting partner in “Big 4” and other large regional accounting firms and a former independent consultant. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.
Chief Operating Officer
John Glover came to Franciscan Ministries in May 2011 as Chief Operating Officer. Before joining the leadership team, he served as chief operations officer for LifeScan Laboratory, Inc. in Skokie, Illinois. His responsibilities included the day-to-day management of a clinical laboratory serving over 120 nursing homes, home health agencies and private physician offices. John has more than 30 years of senior living and healthcare experience, with a strong track record in budget control and business plan implementation. He has a Bachelor Degree in Communication from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
Chief Talent Officer
Greg Belback became Franciscan Ministries’ Chief Talent Officer in June 2016. Before joining the organization, he was Chief People Officer at JourneyCare, Inc. He has over 30 years of experience in human resource management, having also worked at AseraCare Hospice and Home Health, Dreyer Medical Clinic, Career Education Corporation and NovaCare Inc. Greg earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Loyola University Chicago. He also holds a certificate in Organizational Development and Consulting from Benedictine University. He is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator (CHPCA) and holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and SHRM-SCP from the Society of Human Resources Management.
Vice President of Clinical Services
Kathleen Kelly became Franciscan Ministries’ Vice President of Clinical Services in October 1999. Prior to her position at the ministry, Kathleen was a long term care surveyor for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. She has more than 35 years in senior living and health services. She received her Master’s Degree of Science, specializing in Gerontological Nursing from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois and her Bachelor Degree of Science in Nursing from Saint Xavier University in Chicago. She is also a licensed nursing home administrator.
Vice President of Mission Integration and Pastoral Care
Dawn Mayer joined Franciscan Ministries as Vice President of Mission Integration and Pastoral Care in June 2015. Dawn has over 35 years of ministerial experience in parishes, Archdiocesan administration, and senior services, always striving to create new initiatives to further the mission of the community. Before her arrival at FM, she served as the Director of Mission Integration and Pastoral Care for five years at The Village at Victory Lakes, one Franciscan Ministries’ senior living communities. Dawn has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loyola University and a Master’s Degree in Religious Education also from Loyola University. She is a Certified Pastoral Associate for the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Director of Philanthropy and Planned Giving
Christine Zielke joined Franciscan Ministries as the Corporate Director of Philanthropy and Planned Giving in December 2015. Christine has nearly 20 years of experience specializing in sales and business operations. Before coming to Franciscan Ministries, she was the Business and Operations Manager for the Division of Advancement at Loyola University. In her role as a member of the senior leadership team and the Senior Vice President’s advisory group, Christine built cross-functional relationships with university partners in IT, Finance, Human Resources and the President’s Office. She brings a long list of accomplishments throughout the course of her career, including various awards for her best practices and innovative marketing strategies. Christine earned her Bachelor of General and Integrated Sciences from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois.
