Guest speaker Tibor Klopfer will detail the atrocities that his Hungarian, Jewish family members experienced during the Holocaust. Through the use of photos, maps, illustrations and family stories, attendees will gain a perspective that transcends sterile renditions of dates, events and statistics. His mother and father were ultimately liberated from the German Nazi concentration camps Bergen-Belson and Dachau, respectively.

The public is welcome to attend this event, which coincides with the January 2020 commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

All attendees are required to RSVP to 765-464-5611 or jesmith@franciscancommunities.org. Light refreshments will be served.
