Eleanore Roosevelt grew from a shy, homely orphan into a confident, driven champion of human rights. In this program, Eleanore shares personal stories about her childhood, marriage to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and her social reform work. She is credited for transforming the role of First Lady.
