Understanding Alzheimer’s and Other Dementia

May 16, 2017 at 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Tuesday, May 16 from 6:00pm- 7:30 p.m.
Presented by: Linda Carrigan, RN, MSN
Director of Education, Franciscan Ministries – Sponsored by The Franciscan Sisters of Chicago

Those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia lose their memory, rational thinking and the ability to perform normal everyday functions. Family members, who often become caregivers, suffer from the toll of caring for someone with this unfortunate disease, leaving them socially withdrawn, depressed, angry and exhausted. Linda Carrigan, RN, MSN will share free expert advice during a special presentation at Mount Alverna Village.

Tours of Mount Alverna will be offered and light refreshments will be served. Seating is limited, so please RSVP by May 9 to (440) 663-1101.
