“The Spirituality of Presence: A Franciscan Approach to Caregiving”
presenter: Prof. Darleen Pryds, Ph.D., Franciscan School of Theology Oceanside, CA
Lunch and refreshments provided throughout the morning.
Darleen Pryds, Ph.D. is a historian and volunteer hospice caregiver who researches and practices Franciscan models of caregiving especially with the dying. Trained as a hospice caregiver, she hasspent hundreds of hours by the bedside of the dying. In her spare time, she likes to take hikes with her husband, Scott, and their dog, Gioco.

This workshop is free and open to all: including family and professional caregivers, Deacons, Chaplains, Nurses, CNAs, Pastoral Care Directors.
