What are the Duties and Responsibilities of a CNA?

  • You’ll work to promote the well-being and dignity of each resident
  • Observe and track any changes in resident’s emotional/physical condition and report them to the unit nurse
  • Offer personal care assistance and services as requested or instructed
  • Help keep a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and co-workers to enjoy
  • Attend at least 12 annual hours of in-service training

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Sees the joy in working with the senior population
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings
  • One year of caregiving experience
